To all pub poker members, here’s a wrap up for our winter season. The TOC was a great success with the four final players chopping the payout for a charity. I’d like to highlight those players for making it fun, and enjoying the game. That would be Dan St Germain, Peter Alder, Cameron Miner and our final overall winner Cecil Clark. The four of them kept going back and forth right up until 6:00 p.m. and it was a great battle. Moving forward, I have decided to start the next TOC at the 100 and 200 level due to the deep stacks.
I would also like to highlight our Sunday Funday event; we had in total 28 players come out and again it was a wonderful day for all to enjoy. The final two were Raymond Garrout and Garry Webster. At the end of the day Garry Webster took the top prize of $100 LCBO. I would also like to congratulate Paul Lynn, who’s the winner of the heads up tournament and took home a $50 LCBO.
Upcoming Events
- The June Monthly Qualifier will be **Thursday, June 26th**
- **Poker Under the Stars Event and BBQ** coming up on **Saturday, June 28th**. Cocktails will start at 5:00 PM, with the game beginning at 7:00 PM. The tournament buy-in is $40 for 6000 chips, with unlimited buy-ins available until the end of the third level. A $20 top-up for 3000 chips is available at the end of the third level.
A BBQ dinner will be provided after round 3, with a 50/50 draw ($10 for 1 ticket, $20 for 3 tickets) to help cover the food costs. Please remember to BYOB and bring a lawn chair.
Space for the Poker Under the Stars event is limited to 32 players, so please let Fiona know if you will be attending by **June 26th**.
